This is off the topic of my blog, but this addresses something I feel strongly about. I don’t see how we as a just nation can allow women to just kill the future generation because its inconvenient.

Have you been wondering about the title “Tia and Benji Against Common Sense”, perhaps?

    My answer is fairly simple and somewhat reasonable: Nobody I know really thinks music is a real profession to shoot for… ‘It’s unreasonable to think that a sixteen year old could get into the music business’ you know. And they might be right about it if I don’t have the talent I think I do (cocky, I know!), but I know I sound better than Miley Cyrus (bad comparison… my voice is octaves higher than her’s). In fifth grade my teacher told my mom I held notes like Celine Dion ;) Which is why my first cover is her song “Where Is the Love” off her Let’s Talk About Love album.

    Benji really is crazy. Two nights ago, there was a storm all night and the power would turn on and on sporatically. The fire alarms would beep and that drives Beni nuts! He stays in a kennel when he’s extra mental so he won’t tear things up. He bent the kennel door (it’s metal) a little bit! My step-dad has more than once mentioned that we should put him down. Which is why my family doesn’t think he has much common sense either.

I think we both deserve a chance to be believed in.

I’m sorry… I tried. I’ll not give up hope!

I’m starting to fill pretty good about my lyrics, and I think I can finally start piecing them together to create songs… Also I’ll be trying to record a few covers for your enjoyment which will hopefully be put up on my website soon ( i’ll give you the link when i get the song up for download). I’m really loving Cakewalk’s Sonar X1 Studio, but need to get a job first. I spent all my birthday money on a pre-order I’ve been dying to get; now I’m dying to have the thing get here but I’ll have to wait till next month :( 

I kind of feel sorry for my parents, i kind of ruin Valentine’s Day for them :( but I think they’ve decided to celebrate it the day afterwords when all the chocolates are on sale ;)

I find this tumblr thing so much more comforting than say facebook… i don’t know maybe I can express myself more or something on this(even though i usually write down something then delete it). Anyway I have a whole list of songs that I want to cover and put up on my website unfortunately no easy way to record them. I’m holding out for my b-day (7 days), maybe i’ll get lucky! So, I was perusing the www.wikipedia and found this cute picture, my sisters thought it was ugly, but I think it’s endearing (i also think some bats are cute too):
